Efforts Of Contemplation
Efforts Of Contemplation

Efforts of Contemplation features a solo dancer wandering the landscape of her life decisions and contemplating if she made the right ones. Through a series of slides, rolls and falls – the dancer looks through the lenses of alternate universes and reflects about the life she has versus the one she could have had if she had made different choices.

Live From Chicago!
Live From Chicago!

Live From Chicago! is a duet originally inspired by the music “Here Is the News” by Electric Light Orchestra. With two chairs, two women, two blazers and two invisible microphones – who wouldn’t believe they were newscasters trying to deliver a message to the world?

Stop, Drop, Hi!
Stop, Drop, Hi!

Stop, Drop, Hi! is a social commentary about our interactions with fellow humans. From awkwardly saying hi to strangers to bumping into one another on a busy street, we have daily interactions whether we like it or not. Using a combination of acrobatics and voice - the dancers explore the essence of humanity on stage.

Flare Up!
Flare Up!

In this solo, the dancer struggles to find control of the constant anxiety overwhelming her. Through a series of gestures, acrobatics and stand still moments - she finds the inner sparks of anxiety and attempts to control them. From the explosions of sudden movement, the anxiety controls the dancer’s path around the stage. Even in her moments of calm- the anxiety still exists and moves through random twitches of her fingers. With the accompaniment of pet relaxation music – this solo delves into the complexities of dealing with anxiety and not letting it control her life.
